ADAPTATIONS THAT MAKE IT POSSIBLE

Specialized Guards

Custom footguards tailored to each chair design and strength level.

Joystick Modifications

Hand controls, head arrays, chin controls, or sip-and-puff — all work on court.

Chair Adjustments

Speed and acceleration tuned for safety and fair competition.

Therapist Involvement

PT/OT professionals help optimize seating, posture, and control systems.

Technology Integration

Adaptive tech lets more athletes with limited movement compete safely.

AGE AND INCLUSIVITY

Power soccer is truly a lifelong sport. Age does not matter — what matters is that the athlete can safely operate a power wheelchair on the court. Children as young as 5 or 6 have started; adults of all ages compete locally, nationally, and internationally.

Anyone who wants to play can find a way to be part of the team.
